Kangxi period (1662-1722) One side is decorated with a palace scene featuring numerous figures engaged in various activities in pavilions or on terraces. The central decoration is framed by floral sprays and Buddhist attributes. The other side is decorated with cartouches featuring fantastic animals, Buddhist attributes, incense burners, bamboos and pine trees. Worn and missing. Dim: 2.37 m. high / each leaf 48 cm wide CHIPS AND MISSING PARTS AND VARNISH ON THE REVERSE SIDE OF THE SCREEN
