Achille découvert, circa 1740 Folded fan, the leaf in skin, mounted in English style and painted with a scene where young girls are adorned with jewels and costumes that are offered to them. Only one of them grabs a sword: it is Achilles who had disguised himself in order not to be discovered. Reverse: large flowers of Chinese inspiration. Fine ivory mounting* pierced and engraved on a significant height, in mirror, of a scene of Chinese inspiration. H.t. 29,5 cm H.f. 16 cm (restorations)
