DIAPASON: Diapason magazine, created in Angers in 1952 and initially entitled "Diapason - Donne le ton dans l'Ouest", became national in 1955. At the time, the monthly was devoted exclusively to recordings of all genres. Jean Siraudeau, a former member of the Hot Club d'Angers and one of the town's first jazz musicians, helped launch this benchmark magazine. A set of 25 Diapason magazines: Number 1, October 17, 1952 (2 copies), Number 2, November 14, 1952 (3 copies), Number 3, December 12, 1952 (3 copies), Number 4, January 9, 1953 (3 copies), Number 5, February 6, 1952 (5 copies) and Number 6, March 6, 1953 (5 copies). Included are 4 copies of a special issue devoted to Sydney Bechet and a poster announcing a recital by Tino Rossi in 1953. Rare collection.
