Antoine-Henri Voisin (1733-1815) Large ormolu wall clock in the neo-classical style, decorated with rams' heads, lions' heads, animal skins, pine cones and topped by an antique-style urn. Domed white enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals indicating hours and minutes, signed "_x001e_Henri Voisin". Gilded brass openworked hands. Wire movement, signed "Henry Voisin à Paris". Paris, Louis XVI period. Height _x001e_: 80 cm - Width _x001e_: 41 cm (Missing) Better known as Henry Voisin, he was one of the most important Parisian watchmakers of the second half of the 18th century. Some of his creations are mentioned by leading Parisian connoisseurs, such as the clocks inventoried by Madeleine-Françoise-Louise-Elisabeth de Lorraine princesse de Marsan.
