Attractive set of 35 documents: name cards, invitation cards, passes and letters issued in the name of Emperor Napoleon III, by the Prefect of Paris, the Grand Chamberlain of the Court, the Duke of Bassano, General Espinasse, Marshal Magnan, etc.., on the occasion of official events, dinners and evenings at the Palais des Tuileries, mass in the chapel of the Palais des Tuileries, evening at the court theater in the Palais de Compiègne, dating from 1858 to 1864, a letter headed "Cassette particulière de l'empereur", dated September 9, 1856, a letter headed "Secrétariat des commandes de S.M. l'impératrice, dated January 13, 1868, a letter on the letterhead of the household of SAI le prince Jérôme Napoléon, dated April 29, 1856, a printed poem by Baron de Moyecque, a printed circular addressed to the pastors, dated March 16, 1856, a letter on the letterhead of the Emperor's household, dated May 9, 1854, a letter on the letterhead of the Ministry of the Interior, dated October 30, 1852, signed by Count de Nieuwerkerke (1811-1892), etc. Attached are a set of 15 menus, a passport, a university diploma, three LAS Jules Amigues (1829-1883), a LAS from the Duchesse de Malakoff, a sheet of stationery and envelope bearing the effigy of the imperial couple, and a batch of visiting cards and invitations in the name of Mme Le Breton Bourbaki, dame de l'impératrice Eugénie, Comte and Comtesse de Lesseps, Madame l'Amirale Hamelin, Maréchal Magnan, Duchesse de Bassano, Princess Napoléon Baciocchi, General Fleury, Comtesse Regnaud, etc. Various formats Provenance: this set of archives came from Countess Pons de Wagner, lady reader to Empress Eugénie, and Colonel Lucien Junker of the 10th cuirassiers regiment (1815-1875).
