Wash drawing heightened with white gouache, handwritten "Mme de Maintenon d'après l'original de Mignard par Melle Juliette de Garenciere, 1821", preserved under glass in a gilded wood frame. Attached is a small lithograph of Henri-Xavier de Belzunce de Castelmoron bishop of Marseille in 1710, a color-enhanced engraving titled "Romanus Castronum Proefectus" depicting the costumes worn by Louis XIV during the 1662 carrousel, and an engraving of Petrus de Guerin, Cardinal de Tencin.
