Baluster-shaped cut-crystal salt flask, the vermeil mount (800 ‰) decorated with Rocaille-style putti and interlacing, the partially enameled blue and green champlevé stopper hinging open, the putto-shaped grip blowing a soap bubble. Small crack to the crystal. In its original case. Louis-Philippe period, circa 1840-1850. Boar hallmark. Attributed to Morel and Duponchel. Height : 10.5 cm. Gross weight : 114.45 g. Related work A very similar bottle attributed to Froment-Meurice circa 1860, 11 cm, sold at Sotheby's Paris, November 20, 2019, lot 86.
