Pair of Honiton bobbin lace barbs and pass, circa 1760-1780. Pair of barbes with the passe boutée, decorated in the same way in fine Honiton bobbin lace, with a well-constructed design of flowering sprays and stylized foliage punctuated by cartouches with a fine network of picoté flanges, the heart of the flowers adorned with partridge-eye stitch, the decoration of the passe built symmetrically from a central bouquet, cream-colored linen. Dim. total length: 180 cm, barb width: 9 cm, passe width: 6 cm (good condition)
