Needle lace, Argentan and Alençon, 18th ? and 2nd half of the 19th century. Panel in the form of an engagement or dress ornament, 18th century ? in Argentan lace decorated with large wildflowers and boughs of berries, border friezes with large medallions adorned with various fashions, Argentan network with scalloped meshes. Light ivory linen. Circumference: 1.45 m High. 23 cm (discreet stitching and restorations, one stain) We attach a border of Alençon lace 2nd half of the 19th century, with a charming strawberry decoration and small medallions decorated in various styles, simple Alençon network, horsehair on the border and on some motifs. Dim. 3 m x 8 cm. (small holes scattered across the grid)
