The music lesson, circa 1860 Folded fan, the leaf in bobbin lace drawing a frame of flowers. In the center, a silk cartel is painted in brown and gray cameo of the Muse of Music with her lyre placed near her giving a lesson to lovers who are learning one, the cymbals, the other, the flute. The instruments are represented in gold. Signed on the right "Antonin. E. ( ?)". Black satin reverse. Goldfish mother-of-pearl mounting finely engraved with a trellis effect punctuated with quatrefoils. Silver plated metal clasp. H.t. 28,5 cm - H.f. 15 cm (wear, small stains)
