Windmill, China, 19th century Folded fan, the double sheet of gouache-painted paper of characters in a garden. Some of them are carrying fans, boxes in red lacquer. One is holding a windmill. The clothes are made of silk, the heads of ivory in relief. The reverse side is painted with a pheasant among roses, on a silver background. Black lacquered bamboo frame with gilded decoration. H.t. 27,3 cm - H.f. 13,8 cm (small cuts)
