Zephyr and Flora, around 1770 Folded fan, leather leaf mounted in the English style, and painted with Zephyr, demi-god with butterfly wings, offering a garland of flowers to Flora whom he married. On the sides, two circular cartels painted with love symbolizing union and prosperity. On the reverse, a shepherdess under a tree, an ivory frame* pierced, carved and engraved with two Chinese. The sculpted plume of a Chinese man under an umbrella. 28.3 cm/ H.f. 13.5 cm (good condition, arrow rest, wear and tear and small spots)
