The wafer merchant, around 1750 Folded fan, a double sheet of wallpaper of three cartels among leaves and shells: a gallant subject in the center, a little girl in the family on the left, and a merchant on the right, with his wafer drum called "oublies". Revers painted with turrets among flowers. The closed fan, the upper edge shows a painted flower. Ivory* frame pierced, carved, engraved, burgauté and enhanced with colors with Chinese decoration. H.t. 26.8 cm/ H.f. 11.8 cm (burgau missing, wear and tear and cuts)
