Sea landscapes in monochrome, around 1730 Folded fan, the double sheet of skin painted with gouache from a port scene in a central cartel. Around it, seven scroll-shaped cartels painted in shades of blue, green, purple and pink evoke fishing and the seaside. A golden ribbon, decorated with shells, butterflies, snails and parrots, connects them. Two horns of abundance crown the composition. Revers painted of a port with many exotic birds on the ground or in flight. A deer tries to escape from dogs on the right, a white mother-of-pearl frame pierced, carved and engraved with shells and characters. The engraved reverse side. 28,5 cm- H.f. 17 cm (restorations)Provenance: former collection of the Viscount of Courval scattered in March 1892 in Drouot.
