Moses hitting the rock, around 1690 Folded fan, skin leaf, mounted in the English style, and painted of the famous biblical scene. In the centre, Moses has just opened the mountain to bring water and quench the thirst of the Hebrew people. Silent backhand. Ivory* frame pierced, carved in slight relief and engraved with scrolls of foliage and dancing peasants. On the plumes: a horn ringer, a flutist and a daisy. The onion-shaped head, adorned with a white mother-of-pearl plate. H.t. 28 cm - H.f. 15,5 cm (remaining in bone on 3 strands)
