India Company, China, 18th century Folded fan, double sheet of wallpaper on a gold background of a couple in a rural landscape. A shepherdess on the left guards sheep. On the reverse side on a gold background, slightly incised with a decoration of two phoenixes facing each other, ivory mount*, the throat engraved on the face of cranes, and on the back of peonies and butterflies. The carved plumes of squash and "cabbage", symbol of happiness in the upper part. The onion head. H.T.H. 29 cm -H.f. 16,2 cm (very good condition, small restorations)
