Précieux document d'un fond de bonnet, dentelle aux aiguilles à tricoter, Angleterre, vers 1835 Diamètre: 8 cm. Accompagné d'une note manuscrite: " Crown of Baby's cap, knitted by a Quakeress at Darhampton about 1835. Sent by Sir H. Flukeyzin." Remarque: ces dentelles remontent à la deuxième moitié du XVIIIe siècle et deviennent très populaires durant le XIXe siècle. Importante industrie rurale dans les iles Shetland.
