Pair of armchairs in molded, carved and lacquered wood
with gilding highlights. The square
decorated with acanthus leaves in the spandrels and pearls
and pearl friezes around the central medallion. The
armrests and inverted bracketed uprights with
with piaster and foliage friezes. The curved
curved waistband with floret connectors rests on tapered
fluted tapered legs.
Louis XVI period. One stamped Pierre Brisard (1737-
1804), master in 1772.
Green silk upholstery (wear).
