Small curved chest of drawers in veneered wood
and violet veneer, opening with two drawers without
drawers, the front and sides decorated with floral
and sides decorated with floral marquetry in fillets.
Ornamentation of chased and gilded bronzes such as the
lion's head corner falls, lock escutcheons, draw handles
handles, apron with triglyph and foliate clasp, scrolled
with acanthus leaves. Top of
Breche d'Alep marble.
Louis XVI period. Stamped twice by Nicolas Petit
(1732-1791), master in 1761, and JME.
