This statue represents the image of a statue venerated in one of the side chapels of Cuzco Cathedral, taken out in procession on Holy Tuesday. Spared by the earthquakes that traumatized the city in 1650, it is considered miraculous and takes the name of Cristo de los Tremblores. Christ is inscribed between the Virgin and St. John John, whose garments are covered with brocateado. The flowers that adorn the statue's base are also immortalized here. Devotion to Christ de los Tremblores is still very popular in Peru.
