Porcelain plate with armorial decoration for the English market (Izod). China. Yongzheng period (1723-1735), circa 1730 Decorated in famille rose enamels, painted with peony throws on the wing and a trellis frieze, a diaper on the cavetto and the Izod coat of arms within a diamond-shaped shield, silver, six leopard faces green, three, two and one. Probably commissioned for Henry Izod's (died 1728) daughter, Elisabeth. Diameter: 23 cm
