Rare porcelain plate with European decoration. China. Qianlong period (1736-1795), circa 1750 Provenance: J.M. Béalu et Fils, 3 rue du Bac, 75007 Paris Decorated in famille rose enamels, the central cartouche with a border in the Meissen style, depicting Le Bain, after the engraving by Claude Duflos (1665-1727). This model exists in several variants, in pink cameo (Hervouët, La Porcelaine des Compagnie des Indes à décor occidental, 1986, p. 124, 6.28), and in grisaille with a shell border on the wing (Santos, Yuan to Qing Ceramics, 2016/2017, cat. 71). This is a rare, particularly well-painted version combining grisaille and famille rose glazes with excellent paint quality. Diameter: 23 cm
