Decorated in famille rose enamels, with an asymmetrical cartouche featuring a design based on the engraving Claude-Augustin-Pierre Duflos (1700-1786), L'Isle de Jouissance. The text of the print reads "La troup des Graces vous suit
Et let tendre Amour voud conduit
Happy couple of Lovers, with their assistance
Vous trouverez bientôt l'isle de jouissance".
