Porcelain pattipan with European decoration. China. Yongzheng (1723-1735) / Qianlong (1736-1795) period, circa 1735-1740 Provenance: Jorge Welsh, Works of art Decorated in famille rose enamels, with a crowned woman holding a flower in her hand and petting a dog on her lap, the scene set in architecture with Doric columns. The decoration is in the taste of Henri Gascars (1635-1701). A tea bowl with this decoration is kept at the Royal Museums of Art and History, Brussels. A tea bowl with this decoration was part of Dr. Anton Dreesmann's collection. Dreesmann's collection, another was part of the Edouard Cochet collection.
