CLAUDE FRANCOIS: The original draft sheet from Claude François' Sacem entrance exam. He was admitted to Sacem as a composer on December 21, 1965 and as an author on October 23, 1966. Text proposed and copied by the artist: "I left one fine morning, forgetting my youth, trying on the roads to keep my promise. To deserve you, to marry you in short, I had to go far away on my own to fight and become a man". On the reverse of this document, the singer asks: "I would like to understand so that I can at least try to present myself more favorably next time!" and "Ask to check the corrections of the exam - Proof enclosed". A rare and unpublished document.
