It opens with a curved leaf revealing a partially enameled copper dial with Roman numerals and phases of the moon. Signed Stephen Rimbault London on the bezel. Brass socket, pine cones and feet. George III period. German chiming mechanism with four rods, signed Unghans/Wurtemberg. H. 53 cm . L. 34 cm . D. 23 cm . (Reworked decoration)
