SILVER SNUFFBOX COMMEMORATING THE RUSSIAN CAMPAIGN. Rectangular in shape, rounded at the edges, lid hinged by a front catch, decorated with a niello scene on a gold amati background depicting a couple surmounting a laurel-leaf wedding-ring garland, engraved on the lower part with the inscription in Cyrillic characters: "Peace in Europe, 1814" and on the reverse appears a scene of trophies and flags, vermeil interior. Time wear, but overall good condition. Title hallmark: 84, Moscow, 1820. Goldsmith's hallmarks: illegible. L.: 7 cm - W.: 5 cm - D.: 1.5 cm. Weight : 60 g
