SMALL GOLD PENDANT KNIFE BELONGING TO PRINCE WLADIMIR PAVLOVITCH PALEY (1896-1918). Oval-shaped, with hammered decoration and engraved inscription: "Wladimir". Slight age wear, but overall good condition. Marked title: 585, circa 1910/1914. L.: 7 cm - W.: 1 cm. Gross weight: 21 g. Provenance : collection of Prince Wladimir Paley, son of Princess Olga Paley (1865-1939) and Grand Duke Paul Alexandrovitch of Russia (1860-1919), then kept by his sister Princess Irène Pavlovna Paley (1903-1990) and by the descendants of her second husband, Count Hubert de Monbrison (1892-1981).
