RZEWUSKI Alex-Ceslas (1893-1983). Portrait of Countess Irina Ilianova Worontzoff-Daschkoff (1872-1959). Raised drypoint in color and white chalk on old Japan paper, signed in graphite by the artist lower left and bearing the N°II. This plate is from album no. 3 of an edition numbered 10 copies, published in Paris in 1925 on the occasion of the exhibition devoted to the artist by the Galerie Charpentier in Paris. Good condition. H. 28 cm - W. 36 cm History: Countess Irina, née Lazareff, was very close to Prince and Princess Felix Youssoupoff, and married Mr. James Blain in a second marriage. She was often represented by Rzewuski.
