L'Arche Sainte" lace headband, needlework, 2nd half 19th century. In a cartouche in the center, the Holy Ark on a pedestal and topped by an angel, a flute player with a listel "l'Arche" on the left and "Sainte" on the right with a Levite in high priest costume playing the harp, scrolls and a large blossoming flower at each end in the spirit of 17th-century lace. Dim. lace 75 cm x 16 cm (good condition) Framed under glass. Former Riete Alkema collection
