Very large flounce for the dress in mechanical Chantilly lace, 2nd half of the 19th century. Beautiful scrolls with soft cartouches and foliage rise from the scalloped border of patterned motifs, alternating with large branches with blossoming flowers and foliage, the border with elegant garland of falling flowers and small berries. Dim. 1.75 m x 1.02 m (good overall condition, a 2 cm tear at the top edge and a weaving defect at the bottom edge)
