Embroidered centerpiece, 2nd half of the 19th century. Pineapple fiber with dense, finely embroidered frieze of flowers, passementerie cord, and wide frieze of palms and supple lanceolate leaves forming cartouches adorned with many varied fashions, bird with spread wings holding a medallion embroidered with a small flower between its claws on two leafy branches and ribbon tied in each of the corners, the whole well lit by an embroidered pulled-thread background (good condition for the embroidered part, three holes in the center).
