Pair of white embroidered beards, circa 1750-60. Northern European (?) embroidered cotton muslin beards and their passementos, flowers in canvas reserves alternating with cartouches of embroidered geometric motifs, well lit by a background of spread threads, flowers and foliage softly cutting the border. Dim. 87 cm x 9 cm at widest (good condition, rare very small accidents, cut passe).
