Large woven ruffle, Germany ? mid-19th century. Starched ruffle, woven in imitation of Dresden embroidery, with repeated motif of a vase loaded with foliage and flowers in perfect symmetry, between two garlands of flowers and foliage, the lower garland festooning the border finished with a fine festoon stitch. Dim. 3.65 m x 57 cm (good condition, a few cuts in places).
