Brussels bobbin lace pillowcase, circa 1730-40. Nineteenth-century pillowcase in hand-woven linen and inlaid with very fine Brussels bobbin lace dating from the 1st half of the 18th century. Very finely inlaid Turkish-stitch lace. Digit MS embroidered top left. Cream-colored linen (pillowcase in good condition, fine restorations to lace).
