A bas d'aube and a bordure, Brabant, spindles, mid-18th century. A typical Brabant lace design, with a river of structured cartouches of bars linked by picoté bridles and punctuated by bouquets of flowers and foliage linked by the same picoté bridles within a mesh network. Light ivory linen. Dim. vane bottom: 3.35 m x 40 cm, border: 3.05 m x 21 cm (good condition, some foxing, more pronounced on the vane bottom)
