Borders, Point de France, needlepoint, France, late 17th century. Three borders, one of which is a wide border in Point de France with symmetrical floral motifs, fine embroidery in relief on some motifs, picot embroidery. Ivory linen. Dim. 1.55 m x 14 cm. (accidents, a few stains) And two borders in cream linen, one a transitional lace between Coraline and Point de France, French or Italian production, with motifs of small bouquets worked in symmetry and fine vermiculated twigs loaded with flowers and foliage without relief, and linked by fine picoté bridles. Dim. 1.50 m x 7.5 cm and a Coraline-type border decorated with fine foliate scrolls. Dim. 1.80 m x 5 cm (both in good condition).
