SEVRES Two porcelain plates with polychrome decoration in the center of a bouquet of flowers and on the wing a frieze of palmettes in gold on an agate ground, and a fillet and frieze of ivy in gold on the fall. On the back, the inscriptions:Les Rosacées (Rose mousseuse / Rose de Provins/ Hawthorn) - lLes Rosacées (Rose du Roi / Rose Pompon / Spirea à feuilles de saule Marked: CC interlaced, fleur-de-lis, Sevres, 26. 19th century, Charles X period, 1826. D. 23.8 cm. A small chip on the reverse side of the edge of one wing. Provenance: These plates come from a service whose decoration is described agate background, bouquets of flowers, rich gold frieze, delivered to Victor Louis Charles de Riquet, Duc de Caraman, French ambassador to Vienna Vienne on May 11, 1827 (Archives Sèvres Cité de la céramique Vbb7, f° 27)
