Large pair of cassolettes forming candlesticks in fluorspar. Chased and gilded bronze mounts. The reversible binnacles are decorated with flames, and the openwork neck is edged with a frieze of acanthus leaves and two rams' heads supporting friezes of flowers. The foliate and canal base rests on a square base with a raisde- coeur frieze. Moulded pink marble counter-socle. Late 18th century.
