CHINA, Yongzheng period Porcelain vase Mounted on a high flared foot, the rounded, pear-shaped body features an elegant decoration in famille rose enamels of two female Immortal figures standing on boats in the form of lotus petals, one holding a ruyi scepter, the other holding a drum-shaped incense burner, a willow design on the other side of the body and a bamboo design on the foot. Height: 28 cm Diameter: 20.5 cm The neck is cut, a crack at the top of the body, a star-shaped crack under the base, chips on the foot. Provenance: Burgundian family collection: - Collection of a Burgundian family, transmitted by descent. - Old oval label under the base reading "Collection Héliot Fils, 34 rue de Berlin, Paris", a family of dealers active between the 1870s and 1920s, specializing in Chinese porcelain. They contributed in particular to the formation of the Grandidier collection.
