JOHNNY HALLYDAY: A plastic bag from RODEO - AMERICAN RAG CIE - Lot 393
JOHNNY HALLYDAY: A plastic bag from RODEO - AMERICAN RAG CIE, signed in black felt-tip by Johnny Hallyday. As early as 1990, when LEVI'S Vintage was flourishing, Johnny Hallyday bought his jeans from Los Angeles boutiques such as Mark Fox, American Vintage, American Classics, Junkyard and, most importantly, American Rag, located on La Brea Ave. Marc Wertz, creator and owner of this concept, took particular care with the designs of his bags, which were to become collectors' items. With a frame between two glasses. Rodeo model featuring two cowboys in a bull-riding scene on an orange background. Representation of a fifties rodeo advertising poster. Two printed sides. Framed. Rare.
