FRANCE GALL / MICHEL SARDOU by PIERRE FRIZANO (1935/2013) : Famous French illustrator and cartoonist. He made his debut after the war, illustrating the covers of Amok and Alain la Foudre for Sagédition. In the 50s, he designed covers for the women's magazines Nous Deux and Intimité. He then published strips in Paris-Jour and produced numerous albums based on scenarios by Raymond Maric (1927/2005). Pierre Frizano's work is characterized by the high quality of his drawings, their realism and classicism. 2 original plates of drawings, intended to illustrate "Les vedettes mènent l'enquête", in the youth press, for the monthly Stéphanie in 1978. Pierre Frizano drew artists Michel Sardou and France Gall, based on a script and texts by his faithful friend and author Raymond Maric. Format 50x65. Slight tears and cut-outs at bottom of page.
