CONSEIL DES CINQ-CENTS. Round, gilded copper medallion, decorated on one side with a lictor beam wearing a Phrygian cap, surrounded by a wreath of oak leaves and the inscription "RÉPUBLIQUE - FRANÇAISE / REPRÉS. DU PEUP. / L'AN VI." and, on the reverse, a table of the law on an easel surrounded by a snake biting its tail and the inscription: "CONSEIL DES CINQ CENTS/ CONSTITUTION DE L'AN TROIS". Weathered. French work dating from 1798. Diameter: 5 cm.
