Set comprising: a commemorative snuffbox, round shape, in pressed tortoiseshell powder, decorated on the lid with a caricatured scene in relief signed E. Galilée depicting King Louis XVI, carrying on his back a hunter drawn by a man holding a balance, surmounted by the inscription: "Vive le roi et la nation" and on the lower part of the inscription: "J'savais ben qu'jaurions not tour"; a round commemorative medal featuring a historical scene in repoussé brass by Jean-Baptiste Andrieu (1761-1822) depicting the King's arrival in Paris on October 6, 1789, set in a natural wood frame, and a commemorative snuffbox, round shape, in black papier-mâché, decorated on the lid with a historical scene in sculpted bronze and in relief signed Jean-Baptiste Andrieu (1761-1822) depicting the siege of the Bastille and its capture by the citizens of the city of Paris on July 14, 1789. Damage, as is.
