Two Meissen porcelain bowls simulating cabbage leaves au naturel, green with purple veins, and polychrome fruit and flower decoration inside. (Hair, small chips). Louis XV-style chased-gilt bronze mount, BOTH signed L'Escalier de Cristal Paris. H.: 12 cm / 12.5 cm - D.: 16.5 cm / 17 cm Second part of the 19th century, porcelain circa 1765. Provenance : Armand HEINE Collection 1818-1883, and by descent. The Musée du Louvre holds a pair of Meissen porcelain butter dishes with the same cabbage-leaf design (1770/ 1775). Former Dosne-Thiers collection. (TH 616).
