Pair of covered vases with rich Imari decoration. Each vase is decorated with a pagoda in a landscape of cherry trees and peonies, framed by festoons containing cartouches of birds and flowers. The lids are decorated with festoons of birds and plants, surmounted by Fô dogs. Japan, 19th century H. 52 cm A somewhat identical pair was auctioned in our study on February 17, 2012 (lot 45) and came from the Serge Robin collection.
