Large repeated printer's mark on title pages and verso of last leaf, woodcut initials, headbands and tailpieces. COLLATION: (I): A-Z4 (Y1 badly signed X1): 164-(20) pp. ; (II): A-C4: 23-(1) pp. ILLUSTRATION: 16 woodcuts. early 17th century binding. Stiff ivory vellum, spine ribbed, red speckled edges, handwritten title on spine. Modern box. PROVENANCE: old handwritten bookplate at bottom of second leaf -- Raymond Dervaux (bookplate (damaged) with motto "Autre ne sers") -- Count Carlos Jerónimo Humberto de Bobone (1878-1935; bookplate with motto "Fide sed vide") Marginal restoration to title leaf, with a small portion of the printer's mark taken over in pen.
