Large vignette on title page LIMITED EDITION of 150 copies, on Japanese imperial paper, numbered and signed by the author. COLLATION and ILLUSTRATION: fully illustrated, 105 leaves of text and illustrations of large drawings of hunting and dogs by painter Émile Guillemot, reproduced by glyptography at Silvestre in Paris. SIGNED BINDING BY SAULNIER. Spine in red morocco with corners, gilded title on first board, spine ribbed, gilded head. PROVENANCE: Sosthène Hadengue (bookplate) -- Henri Viellard (bookplate) A detailed account of the life of a great crew, this work is of undoubted historical interest.
