Wood-engraved headbands, initials and endpapers. a6 A-K8 L4: (6)-83-(1) ff, A1r-L3r folioed 1-83. 6 folding woodcut plates, 4 of them large. ANNOTATIONS in an old hand in brown ink on the first endpaper. CONTEMPORARY BINDING. Soft ivory vellum, visible stitching, traces of laces, handwritten title on spine. Boxed. USTC 6014861 -- Brunet, II 1768 -- Thiébaud, 479-481: "a most rare work, especially with the 6 plates which are not in all copies, even those in their contemporary bindings.
