ROAST A CAT TO TRAP A WOLF... Manuscript, 2 ½ pp. in-4 (260 x 176mm), brown ink. "Secrets for catching the fox. Three spoonfuls of fresh goose fat, one white onion, three knife points of Iris powder or Violet Root, four knife points of Imperial Root, the size of a camphor nut, the eggs of a herring (...) 24 drops of horse droppings and, all these ingredients, fricassee them in goose fat, after which you will pass and press this fat through a clean white cloth, and while it is hot, after having greased it, you will add 20 drops of ant oil (...)
